Shame that none are Bf's and all in the wrong scheme: what's the Spanish equivalent of a schwarm?

On a recent visit to Duxford I saw "Red 11" in the circuit being followed by Spitfire. It was fun to see the two types in close proximity.

Yeah, well, the truth of the matter is that the Buchon is significantly (in multiples) more known for it's part in the movie Battle of Britain, than for the limited 'combat' it served in Africa for Spain. And I think that most people can see that, appreciate that, and overlook the fact that they're not 'real' BF-109s.

The fact that three of the four Buchons that are going to be at Legends are painted in the markings that they wore in the movie is reason enough for those of us who aren't rivet counters to enjoy.

Just my .02

I'll see your .02 and raise you .02 more.

There's a history lesson than 'could' be presented if perhaps one or two of those Bucherschmitts were indeed painted in a Spanish scheme, but hey! them there owners can do what they wish with their property. As I can do with my opinions.

Glad to have them anyway they look and I look forward to seeing them anyway they are.

The wife and I will be there also. Bought weekend Gold Passes. I'll be wearing a shirt with multiple patches of museums and aircraft types I have visited or flown in. Plan to purchase more patches, you can only wear one T-shirt or one shirt with whole lot of patches. Not up to the amount of patches as the famous guy at Reno, who I've seen, but about a dozen or so. Will fly in to Heathrow on Thursday before the show, and go to Cambridge. Another to check off my bucket list. This will be great!!!
