Well I did find out today that the Cold War Museum is close and they will be selling everything off...

Thanks to all who provided information! I managed to visit:
Cavanaugh Flight Museum
Vintage Flying Museum
Fort Worth Aviation Museum
Frontiers of Flight
C.R. Smith museum
over two days of driving around the area, and squeezed in one or two other things as well. I didn't do all the museums justice, I'm sure, but this was as good as I could get it and I especially loved seeing Diamond Lil and Fifi in the flesh. I'm one of those guys who avidly followed Gary's posts as he modified Lil step by step back towards its current configuration and it was a special experience to finally see the aircraft in the flesh and admire his handiwork.
