Some really iconic aviation feats, especially the low altitude speed records- much admiration for anyone taking essentially a scrap yard F-104 that low, that fast...

I remember seeing his bearcat "Conquest I" hanging in the Smithsonian as a teenager. It really caught the attention and fascination of the museum at that time. It is one of the sleekest and aerodynamically cleanest airframes I've ever seen. My dad met him on an elk hunt about 40 years ago. He said the stories were just incredible.
When I think of Mr. Greenamyer I think of the many articles that have been written about his exploits and how his name is synonymous with extreme excellence in every aviation pursuit.
