Everything looks great, guys. Please don't break anything until I get there Thursday.

Is the Lewis Mosquito still hiding in her hangar?

(Digressing ever-so-slightly...)

With this year's renewed interest in the XP-51, perhaps some might enjoy the linked article. It includes an interview with restorer Darrell Skurich at the time of the XP's unveiling at OSH 1976.

Holy $&!#!!!! The run-up and subsequent flight was insane! Will never be able to top that! ~18 mustangs and ~9 Dakotas!!!

P.S. The KC-46 that departed made an emergency landing at Milwaukee.

OK - someone needs to get to Scott’s Warbird Alley early tomorrow and post a photo. XP-51, P-51B, P-51C, P-51D, P-51H, and XP-82 are all parked in a very tight array. Got a cell phone photo, but can’t post. Gives you the chills!

Did the XP-51 get started and run up with the others, or was it static?

No, it didn't get run up. But Paul I did, they taxied down the flight lime with it which was great.
