Cool item, but I wonder what the missing airframe pieces were made of? I remember a 262 replica being constructed years ago that had an original nose and some components, but the vast majority of it was plywood. Wonder if that's this one? Neat display piece regardless.

You don't get much original '262 for your $575,000: I bet the price gets reduced fairly quickly.

Wonder if it has a Wr/ data plate to go with it. There was a 262 crash excavated a cou0le years ago that had landing gear, etc. would be nice to add a few more parts to it and an identity.
