It was fun while it lasted, but work won't let me miss 3 weekends in a row for Oshkosh and then Thunder. Have fun!

Thunder's theme this year is a humdinger!

However, I am not going to steal Mike's Thunder and will wait until he announces it.

I would advise people to keep Thunder's dates open as it will be a must see show in 2019.

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.

I am going to hope for Mosquito. With three going to be airworthy in the US and one in Canada, it would make a good show.

That and the XP-82 would make for a great year.

Sounds interesting! Hopefully a LARGE group of Corsairs in WWII and Post-WWII markings along with the usual great mix of other warbirds.

I'm told this will be the largest gathering of Corsairs since the Korean War. The organizers plan on setting a record and it's good to see they have returned to their roots.

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.

Six is the most I have ever seen in one place at one time. A gathering of TEN+ would be outstanding!

Between Canada and the US, there are as many as 26 currently/potentially active Corsairs that could have invites sent to their owners (though of course at least a couple of them don't typically/won't ever stray beyond their home airports).
