There are a few Corsairs on the list now that I did not ever expect to be a part of this. Great work, guys!

Updated aircraft list today!

Nothing over the top, 12 Corsairs total (VWOC still unconfirmed/unannounced), every other warbird confirmed here recently (A-26 & Helo's), and static additions of a PT-17, T-1A Jayhawk, Detroit PD OH-58, and 4 Texan II's from Florida.

Hoping to see the Heritage Flight Skyraider added soon!

:D :D

For those that don't follow Thunder on Facebook, they posted for the first time in few months announcing the E-6B from Oklahoma will be attending! Not necessarily a warbird, but cool addition nonetheless. Has the E-6 been to Thunder previously?

Yes it came in 2011 for the Navy Centennial of Aviation as a Static

Any chance of Doc heading to Thunder after OSH?

I think the chances are higher now that we got Thunder Over Michigan when it is supposed to be, early August to grab the Oshkosh stuff. I could care less about the Blue Angels/T-birds, I come because it is one of the few airshows that specialize in warbirds. Already the list of Corsairs is making up for that Choppertown year with the BatCopter, an Enstrom and a Robinson Lawn Dart flying the pattern as part of the show.

Still crossing my fingers on the XP-82 making it. Just saw it at Sun N Fun, looks nice in person

I think if the XP-82 goes to Oshkosh, then there is a good chance it comes to Thunder since TOM is on the way back down to South Georgia where it is based.

Contrary to some of the rumors, the XP-82 is not for sale according to Tom Reilly himself when I watched him speak at the Warbirds in Review at Sun N Fun about his aircraft. He is pretty down to earth about it too, doesn't have it all roped off and said you can go ahead and touch it, just don't climb on it.

Not sure how Reilly changed his mind in a week. I guess if he got a big enough offer for it. That isn't going for less than $12 Million i bet. Did the magazine come out before Sun N Fun? The rumor that it was for sale been around for a while. What is the date of that magazine. Maybe he had planned on it then said nope, gonna keep it. He was saying he has wanted one for years. There is another P-82 up in Minnesota that is 80% complete or so that should be flyable by Thunder 2020 maybe 2021

Per Facebook, they added a C-5M from TX to static. Thunder seems to be doing quite the job putting together an incredible show!

Nice addition! Personally my favorite B-25, and one of the most authentic flyers around.

Darn I had all my fingers crossed everything would go smoothly until August but I just saw John’s -7 ran off the runway and took a bit of a beating. Glad he’s alright, really wanted to see that plane in person.
