What's next from Mr. Luther??? Military side of things added 6 more aircraft today.

Altogether there are right around 75 planes scheduled to be on the ramp for Thunder. 48 are warbirds (13 Corsairs, 6 Mustangs, 4 Mitchells, 2 Avengers, Invader, and Yankee's birds make up the heavy iron), a little over 20 are military static, and then the Viper demo team mixed with a few other civilian/performer birds to cover the rest.

Hoping for a updated aircraft list this Wednesday :D

Isn't it 12 Corsairs now? Would love to see some more 4 engine power - they can keep the modern birds. :)

It was 13 then 12 then 13 again when they added John French's Corsair. Sadly could be 14 right now and MAYBE could've been 15 or 16 ... I'm still fingers crossed for 15 (still some time left to get 2 more on the list)... pop2

I wouldn't get your hopes up on more 4 engine power, I'm hoping for Doc, but with the amount of time/effort/funding to get 13+ Corsairs there, the priority is still set on them.

Doc was the specific 4 engine power I was trying to imply. :)

I don't see why they couldn't get Doc. It is going to be at Oshkosh the week before. That's the good thing about having Thunder in early August like we used to, grab the stuff leaving Oshkosh

I think we'll know more about Doc's post-Oshkosh schedule soon here. Hopefully a trip to Thunder and then over to the west coast for some shows after. There's a 5-week lineup of shows starting with Reno in mid-September, then Lemoore or Oregon International, and then 3 more weekends of California shows in a row. I believe they want to be a part of that.

Moonbeam added as the Heritage Flight aircraft.

Thunder stated that the 4 USAF Texan II's will be flying as part of the show.

For those that don't follow the Facebook page, Sierra Sue II and the recently added P-8A were both dropped. "No need to fret, more additions are coming soon" :D
