Younkin's Beech 18 is indeed a warbird, having been build for the USAAF as AT-7C 43-33403. She served as a navigational trainer at Ellington Army Air Field in Houston.

Interesting, I was told in the past it was a 1950s build model that never saw military service. That might have been one of Bobby's Beech 18s though that he flew in the 90s that this person got mixed up with

Great to hear that the Hampton Gray Corsair will be there. Took these shots of her Saturday as they complete the annual.

Agreed! I was surprised Michael posted about the Huey today, thought it would be the Corsair.

Nonetheless, hear there are a few more owners the guys are talking to. 15 would be AWESOME! Would also provide a little safety net in case 1 or 2 can’t make it. Sad to hear that the Brewster won’t be leaving CO this year :| was really hoping it would debut at OSH and head to Thunder

Sasquatch is cool, I'll give you that - And loud.

Plus they have the F-16 Demo!

Yeah saw that, better than nothing. Really not that much in the inventory compared to back in the day. F-22 demo would be great, 15's and 18's would be nice, as would a Harrier demo. Bombers are apparently too much to ask for these days, even a flyby, though some shows [like RIAT] seem to get about everything.[/quote]
