Stearman "Kaydet"...is it the same as "cadet", or is it "K-det"? Or something else?

KAY-det. Apparently it's some kind of bird. Most people pronounce it "Stearman". :-)

Dunno if there's a connection, but kaydet is Turkish for enroll, or to enroll.
