Good crowd on hand for American Aero Services open hangar day today in New Smyrna Beach, FL.

Yes, another big "thank you" to Bill S. for the great pics!

Among their many admirable qualities, the Collings Foundation has been quite good at giving their aircrafts' restorers the opportunity to receive due accolades and adoration at Oshkosh. I'm confident I speak for many when I express great hope that the F6F spends part of this coming summer in the upper midwest!

(Can one EVER have too many Hellcats?)

I don't know how close it is to flight, but it would be awesome if the Hellcat could make Thunder this year! I think the last time I got to see a Hellcat fly it was Planes of Fame's.

Betty Jane looks a bit different than the last time I saw her!

All of their planes are masterpieces!!! Second what Greg said, hoping the Hellcat will tag along with the Corsair to Thunder! 8)
