Good crowd on hand for American Aero Services open hangar day today in New Smyrna Beach, FL.
Hellcat getting closer and looking real good,
What ever happened to TP-51C Betty Jane?

and TF-51 "Toulouse Nuts" sitting outside in the sun
Also on hand were 2 TBMs, B-25 "Tondelayo", B-17 "909", and B-24 "Witchcraft"

Among their many admirable qualities, the Collings Foundation has been quite good at giving their aircrafts' restorers the opportunity to receive due accolades and adoration at Oshkosh. I'm confident I speak for many when I express great hope that the F6F spends part of this coming summer in the upper midwest!

I don't know how close it is to flight, but it would be awesome if the Hellcat could make Thunder this year! I think the last time I got to see a Hellcat fly it was Planes of Fame's.
Betty Jane looks a bit different than the last time I saw her!

All of their planes are masterpieces!!! Second what Greg said, hoping the Hellcat will tag along with the Corsair to Thunder!
