Information needed: BT-13A

Hi all, I need access to the WIX Hive mind.

I'm looking for any information on the following airframe.

BT-13A
Vultee Data tag ser# 9642
Military ser# 42-42564
First issued N# 61372 in 1946
Reserved N61372 from the FAA
Currently N818DM

That BT-13 has been owned by Don Miller in Edmond, Oklahoma for decades. It is based at Myrick, an airport community in north Edmond. He started the restoration in the mid 1980s at Wiley Post Airport in Oklahoma City, then moved it to Myrick and got it flying after a tremendous restoration. He won Best Trainer at Oshkosh about five years ago.

Indeed! Mr. Miller received a "Preservation Award" in 2013:

Funny...I seem to recall a certain Cornell winning a similar award the following year... :wink:
