Was looking at the Aircraft Engine Historical Society website and just looking around. Under piston engine ,Packard, I found under "Packard Aero Engine Statistics"(91K PDF) a list of engines built. with the V-1650-1 to V-1650-25 models , they built 55,873. Also noted that Continental built a total of 897 V-1650 of 4 different models. Smithsonian Air And Space also noted the Continental engines being built. I didn't know of the Continental built V-1650 . Wonder if any survived , and what aircraft they were installed in. I'm not a member and what I looked under is open to the curious public. Lists the engines built from 1922 to 1944, boatload of types.
