There's a guy - Mickael Rabilloud - on FB who's heavily involved in reverse engineering and reproducing as many of these engine parts as possible (and airframe parts as well). He's just started on the acilliary gearbox.

Is there a company or two in Europe (Germany/Austria?) that are re-manufacturing some of the DB components? It has been great to see the efforts by Mickael Rabilloud to re-manufacture new parts for the DB engines - taking rare, broken parts and reverse-engineering them in CAD that then can either be machined or 3D-printed to form moulds. Mike Nixon's Vintage V-12's shop has of course done the bulk of DB 601 and DB 605 rebuilds/overhauls, but in Germany there is Sigi Knoll and Karl Vogt, known for DB 605 and now DB 601 rebuilds as well, and Mike Rinner/"Me109 Hangar" in Austria. The DB 605 that was installed on the "Bf-109G-12" conversion (previously with Hangar10), overhauled by Mike Nixon's Vintage V-12's, is actually a license-built example made by Volvo in Sweden - I believe that engine is the one that is now installed on the Hangar10 "Bf-109G-14".
