Hello everyone,
Does anyone have any dimensions for the 165 gallon drop tanks used by P-38's/P47s, and the 110 gallon tanks used on VLR P-51's? Maybe like an overal length and circumference at largest point? Anything would be useful and more than I have now......

A model company is asking as I try to work with them on a release. They currently do not make any of those themselves. I know the 165's are made by many companies, so I guess I could measure out, but wanted to check if they were anywhere first.

Google search didn't turn up anything yet....

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Brian

BTW....I saw something that the 165 gallon tanks were actually first 150 gallon, and later upgraded....never heard or knew that? T or F?
