Dave, no advice on whom would be a good source, but a word of caution. If the parts they are looking for are C-47 specific, it needs to be absolutely clear to all involved that the parts have a high probability of falling under US ITAR regulations and that they should be prepared to work under that premise. The regs are a pain and shoudn't really apply to anything not in a modern inventory, but they do. I had to go thru the export license process for some camera pods going to Europe. 6" diameter aluminum tubes with some fins and closeouts, but due to the part number stamped on the tube, they fell under ITAR. Same tube and parts, with no part number and no fabrication drawings, and they were not covered...go figure....
