About the shot of the Bf-109...
Is that smoke or dust?

Dust. Most of the aircraft put up a bit of dust on takeoff and landing, and this was by far the driest Warbirds over the Beach in years, or at least the 5 or so I have been to. The grass runway is nicely humped towards the centerline with a few bare spots.

This was also the first year I had seen takeoff and landings towards the east. Was a nice change.

Great show as usual, with great up close access.
