Collecting images for the future expansion of the powerplant project
http://powerplants.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/

I'm looking for pictures and illustrations of pretty much any WWII to vietnam era military powerplants. I especially would like pictures of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and whatnot of these engines.

The point is to expand the coverage of these engines and provide illustrative pictures and diagrams.

Thanks.

I've got a big ole folder-load of engines/motors/maintenance/mechanic photos. Any specifics?

Anything that illustrates the engine, mounting, and or components. Including assembly and disassembly. Thanks Mark

If I had away to convert slides, I have a ton of F-4 engine pics from my dad, including one that was folded out.

Is this a mockup for the original XP-59 proposal, the twin-boom one that was cancelled and the designator transferred to the jet project?

Huge thank you for this. And please preserve the pictures so they aren't lost to someone canceling their photo bucket account or what ever..
Notice the cover over the secret Wasp Major !

I've spent far too much time lecturing you on why I take down photos I post in previous threads you complained about.

I posted those photos. So if you want them right click and save. I'll take them down when it's time to take them down and that's up to me.

Tired of hearing it.

I for one love your various photos of planes, etc over a period of time Mark Allan M. To give a free service of your collection to others is outstanding and needs to be praised. Quality is way up there and yes you give access for others to cut and paste. May you keep on providing them and get praise from others for your contributions. No response from others about your wonderful contributions is not an option.
Cheers Dade. :drink3:

Even in that one small photo of the Aircobra mockup - it blows my mind how much work went into 'just' a mockup!!

Thanks Mark!

And yes thank you.
I'm just waiting for the new powerplant section on the site. Any news on that Scott?
