You can add my local DC-3 N982Z to the airworthy list.

Thank you BK, but that one has already been included (third to last listed under US flyers).

I can confirm that you have all of the Australian aircraft.
There is one VH-XUX which is in a museum in China now, which technically only needs a 100hrly and she is in the air again.

As I also mentioned in the stickied thread at the top of this page, it was great to add, yesterday, G-ANAF and C-FDTD to the list of flyers, both of which flew yesterday.

Last I heard was that they were going to try for September for a first flight to commemorate the anniversary of Operation Market Garden.

The goofy but with a cute fem redhead, summer stock TV show "Reef Break" has featured a couple or one repainted DC-3. Found on the web, one of them may have been Air Nostalgia's VH-TMG, The other example on the show was done up in another color scheme as a Reef Island Airways airliner.

Thank you Coert! I have finally sent you an e-mail (terribly sorry it took so long to get to!).

Last month or so I moved the DC-3/C-47 listing to the "Worldwide Numbers of Warbirds Flying by Type" stickied thread, which I will continue to try and keep updated here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=65826

Thank you for the video link. I had seen a photo of the aircraft in the aftermath, but the video doesn't make it seem too bad. Lately I have only been keeping tabs in this thread now, which is stickied at the top of this forum: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=65826

Here is the list of active South African Air Force C-47TPs:

6814, 6825, 6828, 6839, 6852, 6854, 6885, 6887

It looks like the Colombian Air Force has six BT-67s operational, and not only 4. You must also add FAC1683 and FAC 1686 to the list.
