SITENEWS: Bad News for me, but possibly good for the site

Well yesterday came as a bit of a shock. After 14 years I was let go from my job. The reasons are BS, it came down to cost savings.
As you can imagine this has brought an immense amount of turmoil to my family. It's going to be a rocky period for us but we will get through it.

What this means is that I will devote my time to the site for the next few weeks and try to make a go of making it a viable source of income. This is a bit ahead of schedule since I'd need to figure out a source of income while I work at home and take care of Mrs. WIX as her disease progresses. This just gives me a head start.

For those of you who currently support the site through subscription and donations, I thank you. You have allowed the site to grow and develop over the years.

I have dozens of projects in progress, including the Memorial Registry and the Forgotten Aviation sites. This crossroads I'm at will give me the time to work on progressing them forward as well as update the registry and the resource centers.
