New to me anyway. Very nicely done.

A bit of History:

Constructed as a Kittyhawk I.

Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Canadian Air Force with s/n 1058.

1970: 1 January, - Certificate of airworthiness for NX940AK (P-40E, 15321) issued.

1995: 11 May, - To unknown owner with c/r N940AK.

1995: 11 May, - Crashed. There was one serious injury. The damage was substantial.

1998: 21 October, - To Hill Top Welding Inc, So Lima, NY.

2001: 24 May, - To Banta Aviation Corp, Dover, DE.

Based at Private Collection of Tony Banta, Livermore Municipal Airport, Livermore, CA.

Markings Applied: 113521

2006: 16 July, - Certificate of airworthiness for NX940AK (P-40E, 15321) issued.

2011: 21 October, - To Banta Aviation Corp, Pleasanton, CA.

2017: 5 May, - To unknown owner with c/r N940AK.

Registration pending to a new owner in Beaverton, O.

2017: 18 May, - To Avenger Llc, Beaverton, OR.

2017: 6 September, - To unknown owner with c/r N940AK.

Registration pending to a new owner in Beaverton, O.

2017: 16 October, - To P40 Kittyhawk Llc, Beaverton, OR.

I loved Banta's plane as it was, this looks good too! Had no idea they were repainting it.

The aircraft was temporarily placed in these markings for the Boundary Bay Airshow, as they are (loosely) based on the same markings that this very aircraft had while it was in service with the RCAF when it was stationed at Boundary Bay with 111 Squadron.
