That must be one rare book, I'm struggling to think why an edition would be produced in Polish when there were so few Polish-operated Halifax. Only 301 and 304 flew them as far as I'm aware, 301 being a Special Duties unit with only three Halifax on-strength, and 304sqn who flew the transport version post-war.

My son works on Mig 15, 17 and 21, L-39's, L-29's, T-33's and a few other assorted types. In the last few years he has, by necessity, picked up at least a working knowledge of Russian, Polish and Czech!

I worked with a German mechanic many years ago. I'd hold up a tool, he'd tell me the German name & we'd expand from there.

Schraubendreher (screwdriver)
Schwartz schraubendreher (black screwdriver)
Schwartz luft schraubendreher (black pneumatic screwdriver)

Grob ficken hammer (BFH)

For a while I was fluent in German tools.
