Steuart Walton looks like he could be a future major player in the Warbird World. Is fairly young has a net worth of about 300 million or so. I know he owns #57 the Super Corsair. I think he just acquired an F8F Bearcat which the Ezell shop restored. He might owns a F7F Tigercat, but not sure. What else in the way of warbirds does he currently own? Has been a major player in upgrading the Bentonville Arkansas Airport. Seems like an interesting guy from what I have been able to find out. Thanks for any and all feedback.

From the FAA Registry: https://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquir ... NameResult

P-51D Mustang N151JT "Was That Too Fast"
P-51D Mustang N514RP "Red Dog"
F2G Super Corsair N5588N
F7F-3 Tigercat N7195C
Spitfire XVIII N969SM

Among others. I believe the Bearcat is the one that was under restoration for Dakota Territory Air Museum.

And he doesn't just own them, he flies them too: https://www.deltaplexnews.com/world-war ... l-workers/

The F8F-1 Bearcat, N4752Y, is the latest addition. It had been restored for Texas Flying Legends, when completed in 2019. It was possibly an Ed Bosarge funded project (all of whose warbirds that were part of Texas Flying Legends have either been sold or are currently for sale), and if so would explain why it never joined the Dakota Territory Air Museum. It had one test flight in 2019, but metal shavings were found and the project went silent until just a couple weeks ago when it was sighted flying again at Breckenridge, now having been sold to Walton.

There is a picture of him flying the Spitfire in formation together with the Gamebird on the front page of the latest “Sport Aviation “. I thought I had heard his name somewhere before, amazing coincidence.

Mr. Walton is not "The Heir" but probably a grandson or great grandson. There are several Walton billionaires. So, he's probably doing great for now and will have more stock later. At any rate, it's great to see him interested in investing and flying these great machines.
