Is it being published again? If so I never got mine. I know they took off a few months because of COVID but I thought I read the new year would bring a new issue. Speaking of Air Classics, if anyone is interested I have issues Feb, Mar, April and May of 2020. I also have Warbird Digest numbers 88 and 89 and Classic Wings issue #'s 114, 115, and 116 all from 202. I will throw in wall calendars from the American Air Museum @ Duxford and from the Red Tail Squadron. Drop me a PM if interested.

Just received my copy of the January 2021 issue of Air Classics in my mailbox today!

98 pages instead of the typical 66 pages or so, and the pages have more of a glossy finish than usual also.

And my subscription which was scheduled to expire March 21 has been extended to October 21.

:D

Let me know where to send the money Pat. PayPal would be easiest if you take it, otherwise just let me know where to send the money.

Thanks,

Same here, I can't remember when I last saw an issue of Air Classics though...

Their FB page today;

18 JANUARY 2021 UPDATE
First, I would like the thank all the readers that have positively responded to the recently completed January 2021 issue of AIR CLASSICS. For anyone that has seen the magazine, I am sure you realize the extra work that has gone into the issue. The good news is that the January 2021 of our SEA CLASSICS magazine is now shipping to subscribers while the February 2021 AIR CLASSICS went to the printer today!
We are still dealing with the Los Angeles City bureaucrats. We have now been threatened via a notice stating the City has the power to pull our business license if we continue working. It is not an isolated threat. Several other “non-essential” businesses in our immediate area have received similar notices. We are not going to let these faceless bureaucrats stop production of what we regard as North America’s best aviation and nautical history magazines.
There is a bit of good news in the fact the digital editions of our magazines are once again available through Amazon. Because we were shut down for eight months, the entire process of getting the magazines back into the Amazon cycle had to restart and that was very time consuming.
We have recently completed several exciting aerial photography missions with new restorations and they will be in upcoming issues. Also, and as I have previously stated, the magazine retail industry has been heavily damaged by the combination of virus and economic slump. Therefore, it is much better if you subscribe because newsstand availability of all Challenge products will be very, very limited for the foreseeable future. If you would like to subscribe, please call Customer Service at 818-700-6868 ext. 15.
Again, I would like to thank all readers for your very important support. If you have specific questions, please contact me at moleary2challenge@gmail.com.
Regards,
Michael O’Leary

Mine arrived in Tuesday's mail. Lots of good Propliner content (obviously saved up over the last many months).

Mine finally showed up today...

Must be a Covid thing...

...I'm glad to have finally received it!

Challenge ought to consider moving to Texas...

I understand they are pro-business...

You can even go out and eat in a restaurant...

Just got mine. 98 pages, perfect bound, seems thicker than previous issues. Very impressive!

Have only leafed through it so far. 12 pages of Propliner Report that doesn't interest me much, but virtually every other page looks like it will be of interest. That still leaves 86 pages of what seems to be quality material.

Looking forward to digging into it. Thanks, Challenge! :supz:

FWIW. The Difference Between Knowing and Understanding is like being Right compared to Guessing.

Do something nice during the pandemic...

Even if you don't subscribe, you might consider buying a copy to show your support.
They have been a huge part of the U.S. warbird community for 50+ years.
It was the only American aviation history publication for a long time.
