There was a video I saw years ago which covered Bud Anderson and Charles Yeager flying P-51's solo.

It seemed that two owners of P-51's figured that with some AT-6 refresher training and Dual P-51 time the two could each solo a P-51 and fly formation together.

I've seen cuts of this video in other videos but I can't seem to find this video - does anyone have a link to this?

Thanks!

Those shows at Clark County Airport were great. I made it in '94 and '95. Here's my video from the '94 show: https://youtu.be/IeoNotVexbM

Thanks for the links guys.

But I was looking for something that was more like a documentary. It wasn't a personal video.

Didn't Jack Roush loan them his Mustang?
If so, it might be another detail for your search.
If you can confirm it, you might ask the Roush organization if they can point you in the right direction.
