Wow - prefer to sell to one buyer - that limits the pool of able and capable buyers. Wendover Airfield would love to get the PBY as the patrol groups were an active part of the atomic missions.

If you keep reading it says they'd like to sell to one group, but they will sell individually. I would bet you could get them to part with the PBY.

The ad says they are in Scottsdale...can't say I've seen them there.
Some of the planes; C-119, PBY, HU-16...would be hard to hide.

When I was looking for a Ercoupe, I tried to contact him as he had a nice F1, but he never returned a call. I ended up buying a 415G out of Lyndon, WA

Looking at the list in Trade-A-Plane, are their C-1 and C-119 the sole airworthy examples of their types?

I would imagine the C-119, with two R-3350s would he very expensive to ooerate.

there are a couple of other C-1A s flying, I heard of one in Alaska being used for cargo. It was a nice flying plane, I flew it from Troy, AL to Glendale and had no problems, tight hydraulic system, wing fold worked.
The 119 had 2 issues, lt oil cooler shutter motor is inop, I wired the shutters open, and there is a squat switch issue, I had to retract the gear using the emergency retract system( yes it has a emergency retract switch).
