Dick Cole was laid to rest at the Ft Sam Houston (San Antonio, Texas) cemetery yesterday.

I was privileged to participate in the flyover which consisted of five B-25s and two C-47s. A flight of four F-15s followed shortly after.

The B-25s that participated: Lone Star Flight Museum’s Doolittle Raiders/Special Delivery
CAF Devil Dog
CAF Yellow Rose
CAF Miss Mitchell (first time I have seen this one)
Rod Lewis Russian Ta Get Ya

Rod Lewis’s 25 did the Missing Man climb out.

The C-47s that participated:
CAF That’s All Brother
Tunison Foundation’s Placid Lassie


I hope to add iPhone pictures to this on Friday assuming I can deal with the pain in the behind known as Photobucket.

I don't why you have to click on the picture link to see them, they have always come up before. Don't know if they are too big a file size and can't find any way to change it on my laptop photos or using Photobucket. Any ideas?

If the link doesn't work do an internet search on Dick Cole and you will find an article of him being promoted to Colonel and a video of the funeral service with his children present. Article is from Fox in San Antonio.
