Hi all,

It might come as no surprise that EAA have just announced Oshkosh 2022 will celebrate 75 years of the USAF.

Vintage Wings Inc have confirmed their intentions to be at Oshkosh with their C-53 'Beach City Baby'
https://www.vintagewingsinc.com/2022-schedule

Randy Ball has also confirmed at least one of his MiG-17's will be there.

Greg Colyer is also TBC with one of his T-33's.

FIFI and Diamond 'Lil are scheduling rides out of Appleton Tuesday and Wednesday.

Whether they'll be on the KOSH ramp after always seems a bit of a guess.

I thought, whilst I’ve got a bit of free time in work, I’d have a think about what restorations could be ready for OSH ‘22.

-Lewis Legends Hellcat
-Lewis Legends Constellation
-Spitfire XVI TB252 (was meant to go this year and with ToM being a Spitfire theme, this could attend)
-Midwest Me109G
-David Nock P-51
-DTAM P-47
-Collings Fw-190F
-Collings TP-51C
-Kermit Weeks A-26
-Kermit Weeks Boeing 100
-Fagen Fighters SB2C Helldiver
-CWHM Firefly
-CWHM Avenger
-VWoC Hurricane XII

As usual I’m probably forgetting one or two.

I'm really looking forward to seeing "Beach City Baby." They've done a spectacular job.

Perhaps the Tri-State Warbird Museum FlugWerk 190 will make it this year.

I always look forward to the thread about upcoming restorations for an upcoming year in this case 2022. Don't know how along this project might be. But the P-51C Thunderbird the 1949 winner of the Bendix Race. Yes I know pretty much a new build, but it should be fairly accurate. I have a saying if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck it must be a duck. I hope you catch my drift. I would love to see this aircraft.

I'm just looking forward to returning to Oshkosh after a 2 year break.

Good list of hopefuls. I keep hoping Air Heritage will bring their C-47 "Luck of the Irish," which I don't believe has been to Oshkosh since its restoration, as well as the CAF Sierra Hotel Sponsor Group A-26, which has flown but hasn't been painted yet.

Really, really quiet on the hype so far this year for Oshkosh.

I did notice, via Warbird News on Facebook, Doug Matthews’ F-86 flew again yesterday. The interview mentioned the jet would do airshows this year so hopefully Oshkosh is on that schedule!

Great news regarding the F-100! Here's hoping for a twilight performance on Wednesday. Just got my time off approved and booked my tickets. I'll be there Monday - Thursday.
