Special Kay had a gear collapse yesterday. According to their Facebook page, they've cancelled all of their shows for this year and next year. Here's hoping for a quick repair

I'm so sorry to hear this heartbreaking news.
I am very thankful there are no serious injuries, truly the most important thing.
Wishing for the best, to the whole team.

That's not good... I hope the structural damage isn't too bad but it will be a major challenge no doubt. :(

Couldn't have said it better myself, especially the second line...

Sad news. However, there are lots of A-26 parts out there and these guys will get it flying again. Invaders are notorious for gear problems.

Wow. Hard to find words. So sad to hear! I'm really thankful that the crew is OK, as I know them personally, and also that Kay wasn't damaged more severely. As we've all seen, Kay's Krew have done amazing work all along, and I'm sure that with time and funding, they'll have her flying again. It is fortunate that the incident happened at Kay's home base, rather than at some far away location. That fact will make it much less difficult to make repairs.

Adding my regrets and best wishes. You guys have worked so hard to give us this beautiful airplane. I'm hoping you get every lucky break in the damage assessment and repair.
