Good evening all, I come here seeking expertise. After the last rain a few weeks ago a friend of mine with a hanger at Kingman airfield pulled this out of the ground. While small bits and pieces are still an every day occurrence it’s a little rarer to find something that might actually be identified. I am hoping someone here will look at this and be able to help. I am assuming (probably incorrectly) that this is hydraulic in nature but fir the love of me I can’t figure it out. Thank you all in advance. No I’m not that talented! I think it came from the now defunct KAAF museum. There is a local militaria shop who was supposed to get some made up. I’ll check for you and see if he did. It is one of the cooler designs from the war
