I see it nosed into the Aero Trader hangar most every day so it is actively being worked on.

Saw Kermit's post too. Disappointing but I can't blame him. If the plane isn't ready or he doesn't feel ready to fly her that distance, better to wait another year. I get the sense he's a "if the vibe isn't right, I'm out" kind of guy. Which again I can't blame. It is his plane. And heck, its taken 30+ years to restore. Whats another year?

scratch Kermit's A-26, he said it needs more tweaking before it is ready.

Now that you mention it...

Seriously, EAA posted this back on May 17:

The many facets of aviation used for the public benefit will be highlighted as part of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2023...On July 29, airplanes on Boeing Plaza will include those representing the Alliance, as well Civil Air Patrol, U.S. Coast Guard, Wisconsin Air National Guard, JAARS, ThedaCare, Buffalo Airways...

Buffalo was trying to bring a plane, however with the fires keeping them busy we may not see them.

Appreciate the update, Chris!

But since when do you have enough time in July to lurk WIX? You should be power napping.
