At long long last I've finished updating the F4U/FG Corsair Overseas Losses Database on the WWII NAR-PAC website. The majority of the losses have been updated with pilot's name & File Number, base, location of loss & reason for the loss. There are still some losses I couldn't find info on, but I will revisit those after I've completed all the other overseas losses.

I will be working on the TBF/TBM Avenger losses next while also scanning TBM History Cards. I will definitely have a quicker turn around time on the Avenger losses than I did on the Corsair losses.

I've already scanned most of the WWII Accident Reports for combat aircraft. Won't get to scanning the trainers anytime in the near future.

Best wishes to everybody for the new year.

Mac

The link below was not working, but now has been fixed. Thanks.

Fantastic research and a great resource. Thx Mac for all your work.

And Happy New Year! How’s Japan? Did you feel the quake? Hope all is well.

Thanks for the comment, Mark. Happy New Year to you as well.

All is well here. The earthquake was further south, I didn't feel it. But that could be that I'm just so used to them between living in SoCal and here.

Take care,

Mac
