Some great footage in that video.
My preference would be to NOT have the music overlay for the entire video. Warbirds make their own music.

As a photographer, you may not understand what's going on. Just take the opening clip, for example. More than likely, that clip had a bunch of wind noise that was pretty harsh and it was better to clip it and add in some music for the majority of their audience. A lot of times the audio just isn't what you'd like.

Awesome footage! Nice to see the Spitfire getting some exercise. Does anyone know if the A-20 or P-39 have flown recently?

Hoping to see a few Lewis birds in Breckenridge at the end of May ...

I took this photo of the P-39 back in August. I don't know if it's back together again or not. We got a tour of Lewis's hangars in San Antonio as part of the IPMS National Convention. I was really hoping to see the A-20, but was told it was "out at the ranch."

Sorry about the image size. Imgur changed their interface and a can't figure out how to shrink them.

The A-20 visited Lone Star Flight Museum from April to mid June 2023 - went to the ranch when it left, don't know if it's flown since. Stewart Dawson flew it away.
His Corsair was at Lone Star from right after Oshkosh 2023 until today when it left to go to the Sunday only Laredo Airshow (static), then back home. Flew away today by Bernie Vasquez
Glacier Girl arrived at Lone Star Nov 28, 2023 and left today also to Laredo Airshow (static) then home. Flown in and out by Stve Hinton, got to meet both of them, what nice guys they are.
Lewis Wildcat arrived at Lone Star today and will be here for a while. Don't know who flew it in.

That was a very well put together video along with the right amount of engine noise and slow mo footage.

Thanks for the P-39 pic and the updates on the rest of the collection! Glad the aircraft are getting out and seemingly flown/displayed a bit. I don't seem to hear much about them outside of Oshkosh, Sun N' Fun and Planes of Fame.

I was in San Antonio back in November and parked at Signature North and they had the P-39 next door out doing some ground runs. It sounded really good.
