Oshkosh

The Mustangs are a little fewer this year. There are 4 Wildcats including one Grumman built version. The CAF Helldiver is here and there are several Corsairs. One P-47, one Spitfire(the 2 seater), 5 or 6 B-25's, 2 B-17's, one P-40E, lots of jets.
One of the neater non warbirds is a little pint-sized ship called a Radial Rocket. Looks like a combination of Gee Bee and Bearcat. Another neat one is the Symmetry.

Any chance you could jot down the fuselage numbers from the 'various' Corsairs in attendance?

The Radial Rocket sounds cool. My guess would be that it's another design based around the Russian M-14P 9-cylinder radial(?). I'm still waiting to see Skip Holm's little baby Bearcat design in person (I forget the actual name).

Once again, I've failed to make it to Oshkosh for the secind year in a row. I with you guys in spirit though!

Sorry about the angle on that last shot. I was just climbing out of the back seat of the SB2C, still not quite fathoming riding the Beast backwards at an 85 degree angle, and must have gotten a little vertigo...

I'd be glad to, Roger. If you look closely under the nose art you can make out that it's "Pacific Prowler" (ex-"Axis Nightmare", I believe).

You can also count on me shooting every angle possible of the TP-51C.
