I am bringing the c53d #42-68804 to Florida and restoring it for a static display in Zephyrhills Fl.
I have found most of the civi life of this plane but was hoping to find some of its military history here on this forum. Any help I can get. Has jump door on opisite side??? I also am not sure what the -DO means possible manufacture plant??? This plane is already in the registry with a photo in Hattiesburg MS.
