Looking for information and/or pics on the L-29 Delfin for the Registry.

Image

I've updated and created quite a few entries but I need current status on most of them.

Scott, Is the update for the B-17 registry still in the works?

Yes it is Pat, due to the limited nature of the computer at work I can't process pictures, and the B-17 update requires a lot of image processing of one form or another. So when I'm on break and lunch at work I launch the text editor and work on the L-29 section.

Unknown example of a Delfin I photographed at DARIAUS IR GIRENO AEROKLUBAS near Vilnius, Lithuania back on 19 September 1989. It is still a sport airport but they had a few "museum" aircraft.

I'm going to try and get to Lancaster on Memorial Day weekend to see if I can get photos of the other residents.

Are you still accepting photos of L-29's? I have a recent (10/14/2011) photo of N7220C, which the FAA says is s/n 501734.

I don't know how to upload photos here though.

L29M113 N1074V 792502. This one was damaged by salt water in a hurricane, used for parts and then scrapped near Houston, TX. I bought the tail section and aft fuselage out of a scrap yard. The tail was incinerated in a wildfire and the aft section was burned and melted. I used what survived to build a replica biplane front end. I think you can put N1074V down as dead now.ImageImageImageImage
