Cedric,

Those are great images. I'm especially partial to the photos taken at Altus, as many brand new Fortresses were stored there. The French aircraft were some of the relative few that escaped the scrapper there.

Just a friendly reminder, be sure to check the original posting date in any thread you may be looking to respond to...there have been quite a lot of 'old' threads coming back to the front page lately - this one is from October of 2009. ;)

 Yeah, the entire WIX is indexed on google, I'm always running into old threads when researching. Also, keep in mind that I will be moving old threads pertaining to specific aircraft into the registry forum as I come across them. Just to try and organize things a bit.

Hi Scott,
I wonder if we could find a way to keep the pictures that are on-topic with threads new and old, and dispense with the off-topic blather, BS text that seem to remain forever!
Chris...

Hi Chris,
The short answer is that it is possible. The long answer... possible but not easy, it would require pruning each post individually and the time required for that just isn't there. At some point I want to take some of these pictures and make a gallery but it is time consuming, and free time is something I don't have a lot of these days. I'll keep it in mind for the future.
