Anybody have any up to date info on this airframe. All I have is this:

Delivered to USAAF as 42-30681.
- BOC: May 8, 1945.
- SOC: 19??.
- Crashed after a bombing mission against the Japanese in the Aleutians, April 27, 1943
Gary Larkins/Institute of Aeronautical Archaeological Research, Auburn, CA, 1996.
- Recovered from Alaskan crash site, 1996.
Tillamook Air Museum, Tillamook, OR, 1997-1999.
- Acquired fuselage.
Artic Warbirds, Fairbanks-Bradley Field, AK, 1997-1999.
- Acquired wings and other components.

So my last info is from 1999. Anybody have any more info? Or pics?

Scott, 42-30681 was used in the rebuild of My Gal Sal, 41-9032. If you have Scott Thompson's Final Cut the info is on pg 76

I understand that the My Gal Sal group wants the B-17E strictly for a memorial, but it's a shame that the B-17E will not share promoting an interest in flying warbirds.
