Damon Wayans hilariously plays the title role in this flick. Payne is an elite special forces marine ("Killing is my business and business is good".). After he is turned down for rank, he is ushered out of the corps, but told that if he handles an asignment as an ROTC instructor at a school, his C.O. willl get him back 9n. Of course, these kids are a bunch of misfits and he turns tbem into a tight team. This is a comedy and to watch: Payne has a vietnam flashback which is the funniest thing I've ever seeen in my life. Five stars out of five. NOTE: This is a remake of "The Private War of Major Benson", a 1959 flick starring Charlton Heston. Heston has NO comic timing. Luckily, Wayans does.
