Before this was a TV series, it was a theatrical release (actually did terrible at the box office). More important to me-it was a right wing movie) (Apollo: "That cockpit is no place for little boys". Sabrina:"It's going to have to be if we are to survive as a people".). The movie was repackaged for TV, then used as the pilot for a TV series, which lasted two years in regularbrun, and a third year with a lot of changes. Brief synopsis: After the Cylons wipe out the twelve colonies of man, the survivors get on any space ship they can find and join a quest for a mystical planet callled Earth. It was innovative for it's time and in the right place at the right time to piggyback on the success of Star Wars and the continuing success of Star Trek-then in syndication. Four stars out of five.
