Interested in acquiring parts, manuals, and virtually everything pertaining to the TBY-2.

The goal is a cockpit reconstruction of the mighty TBY (I know you've got Sea Wolf bits just lying around so don't delay  ).

Have a GREAT day,

Dan

Dan,

I'm not sure it what I heard was true, but in Allentown, PA at Queen City Airport (1N9) where the TBY was built, there is a canopy section (which is now the top of a display case  ) which is the only known surviving part of a TBY Sea Wolf (or so they say).

I hope there are more parts out there. Good Luck! :D

Have you ever been to the airport at Allentown?

Paul

Looks like Wisler has a Flap control valve (NOS or OVH?) for a TBY too. Cool. I might know someone with a TBY manual or two. But he doesn't like to sell anything he has...

Thanks for your feedback, Paul & Helldivers. Yes, I'm familiar with the project going on at Allentown. In fact, there even exists a small collection of artifacts there (Never been there, but they tell me it's nice  ).

I've already acquired one of the windscreen sections offered by Jay Wisler and a good many of the cockpit instruments and such. I'm in the stage of acquiring parts manuals and engineering drawings right now, and hope to be cutting metal on an instrument panel during the summer months.

The Sea Wolf will live again (Well, at least a chunk of one)!

Have a GREAT weekend,

Dan

Paul, You managed to post your second message while I was typing. I'd definitely be interested in whatever manuals your acquaintance may own. Copies are fine. If you could contact your friend I'd be willing to compensate him for photocopied material.

Thanks much,

Dan

I have a small hydraulic valve/pump which has TBY cast into the barrel. If you want photos, message me off list.
