there are restrictions on airworthiness for gunsights? how about things like drink holders?

sorry but I should think that for a warbird having a gunsight fitted for authenticity wouldn't matter if it were working or not as long as it looks complete usually.

what would make it static or not air worthy?

well im not sure but they say that on thier site. i guess it would be materials and weights of the part ect. of course a gunsight isnt critical part so i dont think it would make much differance

Aero Art makes reproduction pieces. They are not detailed on the inside. Just a fiberglass/plastic/aluminum part that resembles a gunsight.

Yes, I know they do have "some" original and some accurate reproductions.
