Up for sale is a complete Pratt & Whitney R-2800-8 or -10. Blower section arrangement determines which dash number. This motor may have a water injection pad, I will be confirming that shortly. Motor has been canned up the bulk of its life and is in excellent condition. Since opening the can, it has been stored in a heated, humidity controlled machine shop. Desiccant plugs are in place. This particular motor has a unique history and is still in its factory paint and still has the original eagle. We do not believe this motor has ever been apart. There are no logs. Will fit the early Corsairs, Hellcats and the P-61 Black Widow. If you are interested please PM me or give me a call/text at 315-521-2468. Will provide pictures on request. Thanks! |
