Congratulations on your milestone! R2600 or R2800?

Hopefully I'll be hanging the engine on my T-6 in a month or two as well. Still need 4 good cylinders though.

Mike,

Quick question for you. Not that I am doubting your skill here by a long shot, but are you gonna do the paint work yourself or are you gonna let the "folks" at the aircrafts new residence handle that ?? And just out of curiousity, what would the paint work consist of ? I ask because I have never seen photo's of the Army Air Corps version of the Helldiver before. And we all know what the Navy did for paint jobs on their planes...blue and blue....

HI YES THE A25 WILL BE PAINTED IN ITS O.D,GRAY,WITH LIGHT GREEN SCALLOPS ON ALL LEADING/TRAILING EDGES,YELLOW SERIAL NO.AND WHITE BUZZ NUMBER BEFORE IT LEAVES THE SHOP.I HAVE SEEN A PHOTO OF AN A25 IN BARE METAL BUT THIS ONE WILL BE PAINTED.YES THATS A 40 WILLYS IN THE BACK GROUND,EX GASSER FROM SO.CALIFORNIA AREA,PARKED NEXT TO MY 40 WILLYS PICK UP ALSO AN EX GASSER FROM THE 60S!LOTS OF FUN!! :D THANKS MIKE
