I'm looking for a footpeg for the T6/Harvard. This is the peg used to climb into either the front or rear cockpit.

Thanks,

Drew

How much import duty would you have to pay in Canada if you got one from the US?

Dang, I missed it. I'll email him, maybe he still has it. Thanks Jim.

Duty can be next to nothing. For something like this, I'd have them mail it & there wouldn't be any additional charges. If they send UPS it will cost a fortune - not for import duties, but for brokerage fees. I just got a helmet back from Flightsuits.com, spent $500 on new earphones/earplugs and UPS charged me an additional $85 - highway robbery.

Drew, if you do get that foot peg off eBay remember the RCAF modified theirs with a straight edge cut into the front. Your existing peg probably has the cut.

When I brought my Yale home from Ohio, I was told at the border that any aircraft part built in North America doesn't require import duty.
I just had to pay the tax. Probably the same applies here.

I just noticed that cut on a picture. Thanks for the heads-up. Although I think my search just got a lot harder.

Cheers!

Here's a picture of the type I am looking for. Thanks for all the responses guys, I do appreciated it. If you've got one of this style and wish to part with it, please advise on this thread so that others aren't looking for something I've found. Also, please let me know how much money you are looking for & I'll send you my address.

Thanks again,

Drew

I guess the photo is gone now, but it is the standard Harvard 4 foot peg with the flat front side.

Hi guys,

I'm not sure what happened to my picture. I'm out of town until Tuesday, so I'll try to get another one up then.
