Thanks Ollie! It would be nice to have this info available when the time comes and only a WIX search away.

I just spoke with my mechanic, and here are the part numbers:

- RW-35 for the top windows
- 825-042 for the glass ones

They are in the "K" section of the catalogue and they come in 50' rolls.

Here are a few pictures to show you what it looks like.

Once everything is in place, we'll sand blast the frames, then paint them and rivet everything up.

Well, we manage to paint 3 out of the 4 canopy sections today.

We should be done with that by the middle of next week.

Looking good, Ollie. Your guys must have got a good deal on green masking tape.

Thanks. That tape is about the cheapest thing we can put on an aircraft, so we lay it on heavy.

Sorry to bring up an older thread, but does anyone have a source for the 7E36 (C281?) extrusion as used on the front sliding canopy? I know Banaire used to have it, but I can't seem to find it or anything close.

Thanks in advance!

It's the one that goes on the front edge of the front sliding section to seal against the windscreen.

Last I got from Lance but it didn't fit the best. They can be a pain to insert in the groove.
