Does anyone know if AC LS86 plugs are suitable for the R-1340?

I have a lot of them ex Swiss AF AT-16 stock, but according books they rather go on R-2800.

Thanks.

From FAA TCDS page for the R-1340 Note 6. Approved Spark Plugs for AC brands do not include that number.

Please also note that some of the plugs listed in the R-1340 TCDS will not fit the T-6 harness. The connector from the harness is a different diameter on those.

No need to ask me how I know this... :-x

Thanks for the doc Rich. I found on the list AC S86R and AC HSR 86. Meight be "86" is the heat range and I can use LS 86's. The ones I have are equipped with an adapter ring to shorten the thread. Will do some more investigation before installing them.

cheers
