Hello all.... this weeks request for help:

Anyone know the required length of the pilot's seat bungee cord as fitted to Harvard IV aircraft?
(Schick-Johnson type square backed seats)

Front seat cord p/n: 49-53122
Rear seat cord p/n: 66-53122

I couldn't find any reference in any of the manuals & unfortunately I don't have any originals.

I am pretty certain they are different to other AT-6/SNJ/Harvard types, but may be the same as fitted to a T-6G??

As always... any help greatly appreciated!

Jason

I could not find 66-53122.
49-53122 calls for the shock cord to be total length before wrapped around thimble 61"x 1/2. The drawing references 80# +-5 when extended to 62". I am confused about that comment. I tried to copy the pdf with no luck.
The parts dvd's have this drawing and are well worth the cost.
good luck

I know the bungee lengths are written somewhere on the back wall of our hangar.
Just heading to the airport now and will let you know.

The P/N 66-53122 came from the Harvard IV parts book EO-05-55A-4.

Have sent a PM regarding the drawing.

Thanks for the assistance!

Sorry it took so long. We have 48" for the front and 78" for the rear.
