I recently obtained a smallish section of propeller in wood with dark green covering.

Provenance only is that it came from Germany!

On the back written faintly is the following text

Brucklandung mit einer Ju88 A4 Mai 42 in Jnowroclaw/Polen

(The first part is fainter and more difficult to read).

The A4 had a VS-11 wooden propeller so this fits with the shape, covering and text.

There was an airbase at Hohensalza which was outside of Inowroclow that hosted training schools for the Luftwaffe.

Is there any chance that the Ju88 A4 was used only by a specific unit at this airfield ?
